Passage to Porto
On the last day of February, 2023, the blast of cold air as we roll our bags down the jetway reminds us that we are leaving a cold Boston winter behind. The TAP Air Portugal pre-flight announcements in Portuguese are music to our ears.
Our visit to Vienna was cut short by our decision to quickly move to Portugal for what we thought would be a short “hunker down” period before resuming our European adventures. (Read about our brief taste of Vienna in an earlier post). As it turned out, this would be our last stop - for now - before we sadly had to head back to the US. Our short stay in the lovely coastal town of Cascais, Portugal, only served to whet our appetite for more - we’ll surely be back!

We want to acknowledge our family and friends for their concern, support, and advise. The whole world is in this together.
If you've been following our blog, you'll know that we have code-named travel day as "adventure day". Well...this past week we've had 4 action-packed "adventure days". Here goes...
